बरसा बादल

एक बादल बड़े मज़े से
आकाश में इठलाता
चला जा रहा था।
मोर ने कहा,
“तुम बरसते क्यों नहीं?
मैं तुम्हारे लिए नाचूँगा।”
मछली ने कहा,
“कृपया बरसो।
मुझे और पानी चाहिए।”
किसान ने कहा,
“कृपया बरसो।
मैं अगली फसल बोऊँगा।”
राजू ने कहा,
“अगर तुम बरसोगे तो
मैं कागज़ की नाव चलाऊँगा।”
बादल बरसी और बारिश की झड़ी लग गयी।
मोर ने अपने सुन्दर पंख फैला कर ख़ूब नाचा।
तालाब भर गये।
मछली खुश हो गयी।
किसान बीज बोने लगा।
छप-छपा-छप, छॉप!
राजू ने अपने दोस्तों के संग
डबरियों में ख़ूब मौज मनायी।
बादल ने सबके दिलों को ख़ुशी से भर दिया।
वह आगे बढ़ चला।
सब बच्चों ने हाथ हिला-हिला कर
उसे खुदाहाफ़िज़ कहा।
