एक हिरण का बच्चा, जंगल में दौड़ रहा था।
वो खरगोश से आगे निकल गया।
हाथी से भी आगे निकल गया।
एक ही छलांग में
वो नदी की छोटी धार के दूसरी ओर था।
अगली ऊंची छलांग ने
उसे टूटी दीवार के पार पहुंचा दिया।
घास के मैदान में
एक बड़ा सा पत्थर पड़ा था।
बच्चे को उससे ठोकर लगी
और वहीं गिर गया।
फिर वो फूट फूट के रोने लगा।
बंदर ने पैर की मालिश की।
मगर वो चुप ना हुआ।
भालू भाई ने गोद में उठाया।
मगर रोने में कोई कमी नहीं आई।
माँ आयीं।
बोलीं,
“चलो इस बुरे से पत्थर की पिटाई लगाते हैं।”
इस पर बच्चा बोला,
“ऐसा मत करना, वरना यह भी रोने लगेगा।”
माँ मुस्कुरा दी।
माँ के साथ वो भी मुस्कुराने लगा।
