Spiritual growth is one of the beautiful steps you have in life. Though spiritual growth will be very confusing, alienating and make you question almost everything in your life, it is actually the beginning of your new path. Going through life without knowing your true purpose in life will make you walk on the empty street; it may provide you with fame, money, and power, but is it making you happy?

I mean, pursuing money, power, and fame to find happiness without knowing whether these materialistic things really give you the joy that you search, is this what you’re looking for?

You pursue these things only because you see other people have them, and thus you need to prove yourself. You define happiness only by seeing external appearances from people that you positioned them as a role model.

Going through a spiritual awakening is like waking up to life for the second time. You question your existence, your purpose in life, the reason about your condition in this world, and so on.
