Laccha paratha is punjab’s favourite breakfast. but it’s not easy to make onion lachha paratha since onions ooze out a lot of water when salt is added to it. so today i made these amazing crispy onion laccha parathe with a secret trick. pujabi laccha paratha is made using a lot of desi ghee and desi ghee gives your paratha that satisfying crisp which makes it taste like heaven.

Ingredients for making Onion Laccha Paratha

Onions ( प्याज़ ) – 3
All purpose flour ( मैदा ) – 3/4 cup
Wheat flour ( गेहूं का आटा ) – 3/4 cup
Cumin seeds ( जीरा ) – 1/2 spoon
Red chilli powder ( लाल मिर्ची पाउडर ) – 1/4 spoon
Black pepper powder ( काली मिर्च पाउडर ) – 1/4 spoon
Gram flour ( बेसन ) – 2 spoons
Semolina ( सूजी ) – 4 spoons
Garam masala ( गरम मसाला ) – 1/2 spoon
Salt ( नमक ) – 1/2 spoon
Amchur ( अमचूर ) – 1/3 spoon
Desi ghee ( देसी घी ) – as required
Green chilli ( हरी मिर्ची ) – 1
