5 Tips for People in Interracial and Interfaith Relationships

5 Tips for People in Interracial and Interfaith Relationships:

Are you in a relationship with someone from a different ethnicity, culture, faith, or heritage than you? Awesome! While inter-faith and inter-racial relationships are extremely common, here are some tips I’ve picked up as a relationship therapist (and someone who’s been in an inter-faith relationship with my husband Nathan).

No matter what, every culture is unique, valuable and should be respected. You deserve for your partner to WANT to learn and grow with you, to delve into your culture to better understand you, and to exercise patience (and be persistent) with family members. Good luck 🙂

BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!!!!

In my Toronto counselling practice (KMA Therapy), we have psychologists, psychotherapists, and counsellors who provide in-person and Skype therapy. Make an appointment today! http://www.kmatherapy.com
