To an extent, one might be right to assert that intelligence and happiness are mutually exclusive because knowledge can be seen as a scope of the mind, whereas joy is a state of mind.
When you become so exploring, life even tends to be not so rosy. The more you know, the more you desire to know, and eventually, the more stern life becomes.
Many people who are below an average level of intelligence might crave to be like highly intelligent ones. Still, the truth is deep within, people who are highly smart struggle a great deal to be happy. This is because they have to put a lot of work so that they don’t go below par.
There is a famous old saying that goes with this; “Ignorance is bliss”. Probably the saying is what makes less intelligent people happier than those who are highly intelligent.
The ability to decipher things, such as someone’s mood or emotions, even without being told, decoding some complicated situations and a host of other pieces of stuff may seem to be a great gift. Instead, in reality, it might even be more bothering and troubling than just a gift.
