The thing weighed almost as much as a basketball! The first electronic computer was the size of a room! It supposedly did more calculations over its 10 years in operation than all of humanity had done until its invention in 1946. The first commercial TV sets were created in 1934. The cheapest 12-inch model cost about $8,000 in the modern equivalent!
