Afsana revolves around Ratan, Chaman and Meera. Ratan and Chaman are twin brothers who love the same girl, Meera. Once during a fair, all three are separated and though Chaman and Meera are found, Ratan is untraceable. Years later, Chaman is no longer interested in Meera, but in a dancer named Rasily. Meera still believes that Ratan is alive and waits for him. Twist occurs when Chaman kills one man in a fight. However, as law declares that as an accidental death, Chaman returns. But this is not the same Chaman any more as he has lost interest in Rasily, and is more interested in Meera. Could it be that Ratan has returned in place of Chaman? What happened to Chaman then?
