1 1/2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Green Chillies, slit
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
3 Small Potato, diced
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Water as required
1-1/2 cup Fenugreek Leaves, chopped
1/4 tsp Coriander&Cumin seeds powder
Method of preparation:
Heat oil in a vessel, add cumin seeds, green chillies, asafoetida, potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and give it a toss.
Add water, mix well, cover it and let it cook till the potatoes are done.
Add fenugreek leaves, give it a mix and let the leaves cook for 2-33-4 minutes.
Add coriander&cumin seeds powder, mix well and turn off the flame.
Our Aloo Methi is ready to serve.
