My name is Sara welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today’s tutorial I will show you how to crochet this newborn Baby boy star stitch layette set that’s very easy to make. We will start with this simply adorable star stitch crochet cardigan, sweater, baby jacket, coat or matinee jacket for newborn baby boy from 0-3 months. You can also make this crochet set for girls just make sure you make the button holes in the correct side. Also, If you want to make it for newborn baby just use a 3mm crochet hook with light #3 baby yarn. For 3-6 months by use baby yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook.

For this crochet baby star stitch matinee coat tutorial I used lion brand baby yarn in the color little boy blue and white with a 3.5 mm crochet hook. I used about 175-200 grams of yarn for the whole set.
