Barbieri Tarot Review | Guiding Echoes

This is my Barbieri Tarot review.

The Barbieri Tarot features artwork by Paolo Barbieri and the accompanying booklet was written by Barbara Moore. The booklet is small and contains four different languages: English, French, Spanish and Italian. This deck is published by Lo Scarabeo.

This tarot deck is a little darker than other decks on the market. It has a strong fantasy theme, with gray and black borders. It’s not unusual to see demons, dragons and skulls in the images. The digital fantasy artwork is beautiful and inspiring.

These tarot cards are not Rider Waite or Thoth inspired, so they stand in a category all on their own. While the accompanying booklet has some interesting story and advice, it fails to give an in-depth meaning of each card. That said, this card is best suited for seasoned tarot readers, and is not the best choice for beginners.

If you prefer darker tarot cards, or if you’re a lover of fantasy art, then this is a deck that you will want to add to your collection.
