This is the second time this month that my power has gone out. PG&E is my provider for where I live in California. I am not fully aware of why PG&E has been turning our power off.They don’t really give clarity or timeframe. They just kill the power. I live on property and our water is from a well, therefore when PG&E kills power they also kill our ability for water. They say they are doing this to prevent more fires from starting due to overhead power lines but it is a bit concerning that if a fire did start where I live, now there is no water to help put it out. It seems like killing the power in areas that do not have fire hydrants and who rely on well water could be a massive mistake. Just my thought.
