Chicken Cutlet | Easy Chicken Cutlet Recipe | How to make Chicken Cutlet | Chicken Cutlet

Ingredients for Chicken Cutlet:

Makes 7-8 chicken cutlets

Cutlet mix:
– Chicken mince- 300 gms
– Onions, fine chopped- 1 small
– Green chillies, fine chopped- 2
– Coriander leaves, fine chopped- 2 tbsps
– Salt-3/4th tsp
– Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
– Ginger garlic paste- 1/2 tsp
– Egg- 1 small
– Breadcrumbs- 7 tbsp
– Curry powder- 1 tsp
– Red Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp

For breading:
– Egg whisked- 2 nos
– Breadcrumbs- 2 cups

Oil for deep frying

Preparation:
– Wash the minced chicken and leave it on a strainer for the water to drain.
– Mix the minced chicken with the items indicated for the cutlet mix. Leave it aside for around 15 mins.
– Mix the minced chicken and form into a desired shape of cutlets. You can make 7-8 cutlets with this mix.

For coating & breading:
– Take 2 flattish bowls, whisk 2 eggs in one and pour the breadcrumbs evenly in the other.
– Take one cutlet at a time, coat it with egg first on both sides and then place it on the breadcrumbs. Cover both sides with breadcrumbs. Remove excess and place on a plate. Repeat for all the cutlets.
– Once all are done, keep in a refrigerator for 1 hour.

Deep frying:
– Heat oil for deep frying in a pan or kadai.
– Put in the cutlets few at a time and fry on low to medium heat, 5 mins on each side or till golden brown.
– Strain and repeat for the balance.
– Serve with sauce of your choice.
