If you’d like to make this crochet baby overalls dress or crochet baby dress smaller or bigger, simply use a bigger or smaller hook with DK or #3 baby yarn. See below.

Newborn use 2.5mm hook with #3 or DK yarn
0-3M use 3mm hook with #3 or DK yarn
3-6M use 3.5mm hook with #3 or DK yarn
6-9M I used 4mm hook with #3 or DK yarn (what I made)
9-12M use 4.5mm hook with #3 or DK yarn
12-18M use 5mm hook with #4 or Aran yarn

For this crochet baby overalls dress or crochet dress for baby girls I used Himalaya Everyday Baby Lux yarn. You can also use any DK weight yarn and If you’re in the US you can use any #3 baby yarn with a 3.5mm Crochet hook. I used about 90 grams of baby yarn to make this crochet baby dress. If you plan to make these for summer wear I recommend you use cotton yarn instead since acrylic yarn tends to be hot.
