Easy & Creative DIY ‘Diyas’ for Diwali | Best Diwali Decoration Ideas 2017 | Pinterest Inspired!

Diwali is just around the corner and it is surely incomplete without the display of diyas in your home. The regular clay diyas don’t look particularly appealing, so spice things up by making these easy and creative DIY Diyas for your Diwali Decoration.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED for THE ABSTRACT MOSAIC:
– Colourful tissue paper
– Fevicol
– A tealight
– Round glass
– A pair of scissors
– A brush

PROCESS:
– To start with Fold the tissue paper in halves and diagonally cut through to from small triangles
– Do the same thing with all the other papers
– Now take the glass container and coat it with a thin layer of glue
– Then just place the triangle cut outs in a random order by alternating the colours
– When u are happy with the design leave it to dry for 10 mins, then add a second layer of glue to seal the tissue paper in place. This will also leave a glossy finish.
– Now just place the tea light in it.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED for FLOWER POWER:
– Fake flowers preferably a bigger size
– Silver spray paint
– Some silver glitter
– Fevi kwik
– A tea light

PROCESS:
– Take the fake flower and deconstruct it by pulling it off the stem and even pull out the centre so that there is an adequate amount of space to fit in the tea light
– Once you are done reassemble the whole flower by sticking it together with a fevi kwik
– Spray the flower with a desired colour and immediately add glitter to it so that it stick to the spray paint.
– Let it dry for a couple of hours and then just add a tea light.
