Easy Paper Ball Decoration Tutorial – DIY – Paper Kawaii

Learn how to make a kirigami globe decoration. This video shows clearly how to make this paper decoration with 6 strips of paper, no glue required.

Quite a few people requested that I remake this tutorial, as for the previous version I used 6 strips of paper, all the same colour.

This time I used strips of different colours so that you can see the placement of the strips more clearly.

I also show where exactly to cut the two ends of the papers by measuring..

I recommend using a little bowl to make it easier to assemble the ball. And also thicker paper works best.

I hope those that could not follow my previous tutorial can now complete this kirigami paper ball. ?

You Will Need

▸ 6 strips of paper

Paper size example: 1.5 x 29.7 (cut from A4 paper)
Using US letter paper will also be fine.
If you want to use smaller paper, the height of the strips needs to change.
For example if using 20cm, make the strips 1cm tall.
The ratio of the strips should be about 1:20 so all you have to do is divide the length of your paper by 20 to work it out.
