Learn Hand Embroidery for Beginners:
Back stitch is made by taking the thread backward than the conventional forward motion, and thus the name. It is a very flexible to follow curves and bends in a design.

Today i will be covering 6 Basic stitches of Back stitch family.
Once you familiarize yourself with basic stitches, you will find that they are the foundation to those more elaborate stitches that once seemed too difficult to tackle.
This is the beginning of a hand embroidery journey that i hope you will follow along with.

3. Threaded back stitch
4. Chinese Stitch (pekinese stitch)
5. Herringbone ladder filling stitch
6. Split back stitch
