Healthy Sweet Treats | Sugar-Free Low Carb Christmas Treats

Guilt-Free Healthy Sweet Greats for the Christmas Season! I love the cookies so much! Definitely recommend you to try out the cookies!
Stevia is a natural sweetener that has zero calories and erythritol does not impact your blood sugar much as well. They are great to keep your blood sugar under control. You can of course use your own sugar or sweetener but I wanted it to be sugar free and low carb so that they don’t spike my insulin. Anyway this is a very big topic, i wanted to keep the video short so I hope you enjoy these recipes!

Recipe 1: Dark Chocolate
110g of Cacao Powder
2 Tbs of Coconut Oil
1 Tbs of Maca Powder
100g of Cacao Butter
1 Tsp of Vanilla extract
2 Tbs of Sweetener (I used sugarless sweetener, you can use maple syrup or other sweetener if you are not looking for a low sugar recipe)

Maca powder has loads of vitamins and minerals like vitamin B1, B2, C, D and E. It has potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium and selenium. It helps with hormones imbalance as well.

Cacao is full on antioxidants, potassium, iron, calcium and magnesium. It is so good for our body! Cacao is great to keep us young because of its antioxidant properties!

Melt cacao butter over low heat until its completed melted. Add coconut oil and sugar. Make sure your sugar/sweetener is completed melted as well. Mix all the other ingredients and make sure it is all smooth before you pour it into the chocolate moulds.

Recipe 2: Ginger Christmas Cookies!
2 1/2 cup of Almond flour (or almond meal)
1/2 cup of sugar/sweetner
2 tsp of ginger
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
1/4 tsp of salt
110g (1/2 cup) of grass fed butter (you can use 80g if you want it less buttery)
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 egg
1 tbs of gelatin
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix all the dry ingredients together and set aside. Then mix butter, egg and vanilla extract. You can melt the butter first.
Then add all the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Mix it well and cut it up into a nice cookie shape! You can put the mixture into the freezer for 10 minutes first so that it is easier to work with the cookie dough.

Bake it in the oven for about 150 degree celsius to 180 degree celsius. Most instructions online is at 180 degree celsius (350 degrees fahrenheit), but my oven is a little too hot so I had to tone it down to 150 degree celsius. Bake it for about 12-15 minutes depending on the thickness of your cookies! I made about 17 cookies!

Recipe 3:
400ml of coconut milk/almond milk
4-6 tbs of cacao powder (add more or less depending on your preference)
1 tsp of stevia / sweetner
2 tbs of gelatin
1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Mix gelatin with 2 tbsp of warm water until its all dissolved. Then add the ingredients into the blender and blend it!

Super easy!

Monk Fruit sweetener is a popular one as well
Erythritol is a sugar alcohol but it a low glycemic index level sweetener which is great but it may give digestive issues for some people.
