In this video, we’re diving into a parable that Jesus told regarding Lazarus, a rich man and Abraham.

In this parable, Lazarus is a sick beggar, and the rich man does nothing to help him. When the two of them die, the rich man ends up in hell and Lazarus ends up in heaven.

The rich man asks Abraham to send Lazarus to his brothers to warn them about hell, but Abraham refuses and says that his brothers wouldn’t listen to the dead.

Many people refer to this story as a way of saying “See? God doesn’t allow the dead to communicate with the living.” But we have to ask, is that REALLY the point that Jesus was making? Is that truly what this story says?

So let’s open our Bible, put on our thinking caps, and dive into this story to see what the real message is in this interesting parable.
