Like in any other conventional braces like metal or ceramic, orthodontics apply forces on the teeth to bring about gentle movements of the teeth. The similar force is applied with aligner or invisible aligners, only difference is in this the patient is at will to remove the brace for eating and brushing rest of the time he has to put it on. The forces used in these aligners are planned in such a way that say the patient has a treatment of 10 months, we divide these 10 months with aligners which are planned for multiple movements of teeth. In each box of aligners there are multiple packets used for one patient. Each month the patient has two sets of aligners, each set is owned for two weeks. Every other week the patient has to go to the next set. The computer plans the movement from set no-1 to set no-20 in a designated way meaning it should move from point A to point B in between these points we have 20 sets divided on the system, it is replicated into the box of aligners that is how this system works.
