Paksiw na Pata Recipe
This way of cooking is traditionally done with fish but Filipinos
did it on pork as well and this was the result, adding banana
blossom further enhanced the taste. I cannot imagine eating too
much of this skin and fat so if you have high cholesterol,
I suggest you let this delicious skip your plate.
Ingredients
1 kg of Pig Leg or Pata
100g of dried banana blossom
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of black pepper
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1/ cup of vinegar
2 1/2 cup of water
