In today’s tutorial I will show you how to crochet this easy light weight spring / Easter baby girl pinafore style sweater jacket for baby girls from 12-18 months. You can also make it smaller or larger by simply changing your hook size as mentioned in my video.

For this crochet baby sweater cardigan tutorial I used lion brand ice cream scoop yarn which is a light #3 baby yarn. I used about 140g. You may need less or more depending how long you want your crochet baby jacket to be. You can also use cotton thread #10 just use 2 strands.
