How to crochet the mixed cluster stitch | Crochet Stitches | Crochet for beginners | Crochet

Stitch Instructions for the Mixed Cluster Crochet Stitch:

MC (mixed cluster)
YO, insert hook into 1st ST as indicated, YO, draw up a loop, YO, draw through 2 loops, skip 1 ST {YO, insert hook into next stitch, YO, draw up a loop, YO pull through 1 loop} do this twice into the same stitch leaving you with a total of 6 loops on your hook. YO, draw through all 6 loops.

Work in multiples of 4
R1: SC in the 3rd CH from the hook. Continue with SC all the way across. CH 2. Turn.
R2: (CH 2 counts as a stitch) 1 MC inserting hook into the 1st and 3rd stitch, *CH 1, 1 MC, inserting hook 1st into the same ST as previous MC; rep from * ending last rep in top of turning CH. CH 1. Turn.
R3: (CH 1 counts as stitch) SC into each stitch all the way across. CH 2. Turn.
Repeat rows 2-3
