A quick and easy method for hand sewing; the whip stitch can be used in many different scenarios. Here I demonstrate how to hem using the whip stitch (also called the overcast stitch).

Although not the most invisible stitch on the front of sewing projects, it’s the fastest and simplest to do and is great for clothing repairs amongst many other things.
