I am Kana will be: Watashi wa Kana desu.

Watashi wa Kana desu.

It’s more proper to introduce yourself with your last name, so that would be: Watashi wa Sato desu.

If your last name is Johnson, you say: Watashi wa Johnson desu.

Again. Watashi wa Johnson desu. Watashi wa Johnson desu.

I am Johnson./Watashi wa Johnson desu.
