How to Knit: ‘1 over 1’ CABLES | 1/1 LC | 1/1 RC | 1/1 LPC | 1/1 RPC | Knitting Purl Crosses

This tutorial shows you how to knit ‘1 over 1’ cables which are created when you cross one stitch over another to produce a narrow line cable. The resulting cable will be one stitch wide.

I will show you 4 different 1/1 cables, including purl crosses which is where a knit stitch is crossed over a purl stitch. Purl crosses are usually used on a reverse stockinette stitch background.
