How to Knit: Eyelet Stripe Lace Pattern | Easy Knitting Tutorial for Columns of Yarn Over Eyelets
This easy lace knitting pattern is an amalgamation of a couple of lace knitting designs, and I call the result ‘Herringbone Eyelet-Stripe Lace’.
It create stripes, or columns, of yarn over eyelets in a zigzag arrangement.
The pattern only uses knits, purls, yarn overs, ssk decreases and p2tog decreases, so should be simple enough for beginners to lace knitting to follow.
I have added 4 rows of knit stitches (i.e. garter stitch) around the edge as a border, but this is optional. Either way, you need to cast on a multiple of 4 stitches to begin.
