How to Knit: Reversible SEED STITCH SELVEDGES | Simple NEAT EDGES that are 3 Stitches Wide

This easy pattern allows you to add attractive side edges to your flat knitting projects, and it’s also useful for preventing the curling of stockinette stitch edges.

The pattern involves the first 3 and last 3 stitches on every row, and creates a bumpy seed stitch border with a neat & smooth edge. Suitable for anyone to use, including beginners.

In this tutorial, I demo the selvedges on both garter stitch and stockinette stitch, just to prove you can add these edges to any type of stitch pattern.

I hope you find it helpful!
