How to Knit: TWISTED SLIP STITCH SELVEDGES | Super Easy NEAT EDGES for Beginners | Knitting Pattern

This simple technique creates neat & smooth edges on the side edges (the selvedges) of your flat knitting projects.

It’s a 1-row pattern repeat, so it’s the same on every row, and only involves 2 stitches… this is so easy, even for total beginners! The effect is to add ‘twisted chain’ edging to the sides of your project, no matter what pattern you are following.

In this tutorial, I am demonstrating the slip stitch selvedges on both garter stitch and stockinette stitch so you can easily compare.

You may have noticed that I’ve done this video before, but this is a new-and-improved version!

I hope you find it useful!
