How to Make Batata Vada Recipe | Indian Cooking Recipes | Cook with Anisa | Ramadan Recipes

Batata Vada is a popular very Indian vegetarian fast food in Maharashtra, India. It literally means potato fritters. The name “Batata” means potato in Portuguese who introduced potatoes in India. It consists of a spicy potato mash coated with chick pea flour, then deep-fried and served hot with chutney.

This recipe is made in two parts, the filling and the batter. Typically eaten with a chutney of your choice and can be in a bread roll or on its own.
