In this tutorial, we are going to see how to paint with watercolors a typical mediterranean village.
Watercolors may be a luminous painting technique, but you need how to apply shadows too!
Shadows are painted with colors, not just black o grey. Watch how I use violet and blue to make shadows and the shadows of the shadows (really).
In watercolor, whites are achieved reserving parts of our paper without painting on them, but, you can enhance de brightness, and the feeling o “whiteness” using color contrast.
I’m a Drawing and Painting spaniard teacher for decades, but sickness stops me from public class giving. Now I’ll try to teach how to draw and paint with my tutorials.
