I was so excited to use and review the Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation. It said it was skin care, plus coverage, plus it blurred and boosted lines. It seemed to check all of my desires so even at $54 I felt it was worth it if it would treat my skin with serum, while blurring imperfections and giving me an even complexion. In the end, after trying this makeup multiple days and with different applications I could not get it to work on my skin. It actually felt really nice on, very light and once it dried down the satin finish was nice as well, but for some reason with my skin it emphasized every line and sat on top of my skin rather than setting into it as the Ilia true skin serum box claimed it would. I was super disappointed because I wanted this foundation to work for me, however, this foundation does not blur imperfections, it accentuates them.
