WHAT IS INVISALIGN:
Invisalign is a custom-made aligner that is interchanged roughly every two weeks for a period of six to eighteen months, or longer depending on the severity of misalignment. Similar to a mouth or dental retainer (which is designed to keep teeth from shifting out of place), an Invisalign aligner (tray) is used for orthodontic treatment as a technique to move and properly align teeth.

QUESTIONS ASKED IN THIS VIDEO:
We have broken down the questions into three parts on this video.

Invisalign tray questions,
1 – When I first started my Invisalign treatment I was really worried I would break my tray (retainer) when pulling it out because it was so tight. What is your advice on taking the trays out easily and the risk of breaking them? Time Stamp: 00:15

2- What should you do if you break or loose a tray? Time Stamp: 01:03

3- When I started treatment my bite was causing me to bite on an attachment, I was worried about breaking it when chewing. How strong are attachments and what should you do if they break? Also should you check them? Time Stamp: 01:41

4- Sometimes you don’t have your chewy or cotton roll to get the trays to sit nicely on your teeth. Is it ok to bite down hard on your teeth to make them sit nicely? Time Stamp: 02:41

Oral hygiene,
5- Should you brush your teeth straight after eating food or should you wait a little and then put your trays back in? Time Stamp: 03:18

6- Can you drink clear liquids for example lemonade or clear alcoholic spirits with your trays in? Also can you smoke with your trays in? Time Stamp: 04:01

7- Can you use a mouthwash when you have your trays in to help freshen breath? Time Stamp: 04:48

8- How often and how should you clean your trays? Time Stamp: 05:18

9- Can you use a lip balm for dry lips? When I first started my treatment I did experience this. Time Stamp: 05:52

Treatment questions,
10- How sore will invisalign treatment make your teeth during treatment? Time Stamp: 06:15

11- Does invisalign treatment make your teeth slightly wobbly during treatment? Is this normal and what is a normal amount? Time Stamp: 07:11

12- When you finish treatment what should you expect after treatment? Time Stamp: 07:51

13- During your treatment how often will you be seeing your dentist? And what should you expect to happen in these appointments? Time Stamp: 08:20

14- When your treatment is complete will the height of all the teeth be the same? Time Stamp: 09:01

15- Once you finish your treatment what can you do if your teeth do not looking like what you expected? Time Stamp: 09:55
