Loved by one and all, Krishna the 8th Avatar of Maha Vishnu has played several mischievous roles in his time. Playing pranks on the innocent Gopis, Stealing Butter and Curd from everyone’s house, drinking milk from the Cows, herding the cows and playing with his friends are only a few of his shenanigans.

Fighting to live right from his birth, Krishna was born to the royal couple King Vasudev and Queen Devaki while they were imprisoned by her Evil brother King Kamsa. Kamsa was informed by a divine messenger that the eighth child of Vasudev and Devaki would bring about his downfall. Kamsa sends the demoness Puthana to put an end to his nemesis, Krishna at Gokul. Puthana transforms into the form of an Apsara and mesmerises everybody. She takes little Krishna and steals him away to put an end to his antics. Krishna while playing with his friends, heard a fruit seller hawking fruits to be sold. He wanted to buy some fruits too. And so he ran and asked the lady to give him some fruits. As he didn’t have any money about him, he saw some heaps of grains nearby and grabbed a heap within his hands and ran to the lady. But by the time he reached her, all the grains had vanished. Seeing his sad eyes the fruit seller lady said that she would give him all her fruits if he would sit on her lap and called her “mother.”

Enraged by the death of the demoness Puthana, King Kamsa orders for the wind spirit monster, Trinavarth, to leave for Gokul and kill Krishna. Little Krishna, was left alone in the courtyard by Yashoda, while she went about her chores.
