Knit an I-Cord | With DPNs or Straight Needles | Knitting Lessons for Beginners

This video demonstrates how to knit an I-cord, which is essentially a knitted tube of very narrow diameter.
Formed by simple circular knitting methods, the I-cord can be created using either 2 double-pointed needles or two straight needles.

The only stitch required is the knit stitch, and since this is circular knitting rather than flat knitting, this results in a stockinette stitch I-cord.

If you would like to read more information about this technique, please visit my website:

Thanks very much for watching!

P.S. The ‘I’ in I-cord actually stand for ‘idiot’…apparently because it’s so easy that even idiots can do it!
