Hi. My name is Sara welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby which is my bilingual channel here in YouTube. This means that all my tutorials are always in Spanish and English.
In today’s tutorial I will show you how to crochet the star crochet stitch. It’s fast and easy perfect for crochet scarfs, sweaters, cardigans, dresses, crochet hats, baby blankets and so much more.

For the tutorial I used medium #4 yarn with a 6mm Crochet hook. You can use any type of yarn as long as you use the recommended crochet hook size. The stitch multiple is 2+1

To make a blanket: With a 4.5mm hook and #3 yarn make 143 chains. If you want it bigger add chains in increments of 10. If you want it smaller take 10 chains off. Continue for approximately 43 rows or until you have the size you want. You can finish your blanket with a border of your choice.
