Trying hard to get Malar married to Chezhiyan, Kanmani is unable to hold herself back when Chezhiyan coughs. She rushes with some water breaking her promise to Malar that she shall allow only Malar to take care of Chezhiyan. Realizing they haven’t come close in a long time, Kanmani plants a kiss on Chezhiyan’s cheeks thinking he is asleep (which he is not), and feels his palm around her own face. Malar watches this from a distance and feels relieved that the plan is working and Kanmani shall soon realize that she can’t give away or even share Chezhiyan with anyone else. Malar smiles, Chezhiyan smiles and its love in the air as Kanmani lies down next to Chezhiyan after long break.
