My Experience Working At A Group Home At 18 YEARS OLD

Today I am sharing my whole experience working at a group home at 18 years old. All group homes are different this is just my experience working for this particular mental health agency. I worked in a group home for adults (anyone 18+) My particular agency took in clients with dual diagnosis ( a mental health challenge + a mild to moderate developmental disability) and all individuals that typically came in had also severe behavioural difficulties. My residence was typically a transitional home meaning we worked with clients typically 2 years minimum and the goal was to help them in various different ways and then to find a longterm living facility for them to permanently live at. I share with you all the ups and downs and good and bad working there for the 5 years. If you have more questions feel free and maybe I can do a part 2.
