MY FAMILY’S CHRISTMAS 2018 & Raspberry Thumbprint Cookie Recipe
This video contains the highlights from our family’s Christmas experiences this December. From School and church performances to riding motorcycles, swimming after Christmas dessert, and opening lots of gifts. We enjoy lots of great food as a family and so cooking together is a big part of our Christmas tradition. I’m including our favorite Almond Raspberry Thumbprint cookie recipe. Almond Raspberry Thumb Print Cookies
1 1/2 Cups butter softened
1 cup Sugar
(7 Oz.) Odense Almond Paste
Creme above together
2 Egg Yolks
3 Cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
Raspberry Jam
Combine ingredients, then kneed by hand for 2-3 minutes.
Roll into balls, impress center with thumb or end of large wooden spoon.
Fill impression with jam.
Refrigerate for 20-60 minutes. The longer the better, then they donβt spread as much.
Bake 350 degrees, for 10-12 minutes.
Glaze:
Water
Powder Sugar
Almond Extract
Salt
I make this to the consistency and taste I like. Then drizzle over cookies.
