See how knitting an I-Cord can keep your pencils cozy!
Pencil Cozies are great gifts for kids!

“How To Knit an I-Cord”: http://youtu.be/dfkFRa9tjns

To create your pencil cozies, simply cast-on 7 stitches and knit in I-Cord until your piece is the desired length, mine are about 4 inches, then bind-off and tuck in your ends!

Such a fun, quick knitting project!

For this project, all you need is yarn in various colors of your choosing, double-pointed knitting needles in size 4, a tapestry needle, and scissors.

This is a fun gift idea, too! I bought this package of a dozen colored pencils for only $2.49 at Walgreens. And using scrap-yarn, that’s about the only expense incurred.
