Origami Pop-Up Frame Box – Picture Frame – Paper Kawaii

Learn how to make an Origami Pop Up Frame Box! This flat origami picture frame can display artwork and can also pop up to become a useful origami box. Made from 1 sheet of square paper, no glue required.

My frame obsession continues with this flat origami photo frame box.
The fact that it becomes a box is a nice surprise and was not really my intention. I just wanted to make a flat origami frame that was even on the edges.

The box has slanted, rounded ‘frame’ sides so it’s pretty unique.

You can put your photo or artwork you want to display in the frame before collapsing all four sides. So at around 7:26 put your photo in there, other wise you’ll have to undo it.

– The box that one makes is much more appealing ? but the frame is thicker, so it just depends what you want to use it for.

Paper size example: 17.5 x 17.5 cm.
Final model size: 9.4 x 9.4 cm.
6.3 x 6.3 cm wide, 3cm as a box.
