Park Scene – Divya slaps Ezhilan and then saves him | Divya & Ezhilan | Best of Naayagi

Divya is surprised to find Ezhilan in the same park as her. Both accuse each other of following the other. One thing leads to other and both of them get into an argument. Around the same time, a group of men arrive who were forcing couples in the park into instantly marrying each other, then and there. One of them spots Ezhilan as he was helping Divya get back her dupatta that was stuck on the park bench. The group approach them with the sacred thread ‘thaali’ insisting Ezhilan ties it around Divya’s neck. With no other go to escape these unruly men wielding weapons, Ezhilan calls Divya his wife and holds her hand with confidence. The group of men disperses. However, Divya slaps Ezhilan in a fit of rage. She urges Ezhilan to confess if he has any feelings for her inside his heart. Ezhilan apologises citing he had no other way to save them both from those unruly men. He leaves saying they must not meet each other again even by accident. As Ezhilan goes a short distance, Divya spots a heavy tree branch about to fall from the tree on Ezhilan. She rushes behind him, throwing her wallet in a bid to save his life. Getting there in nick of time, she suvccessfully saves Ezhilan from any hurt even as people in the park gather around them congratulating them on their narrow escape and the aptness of their pair. Naayagi (Nayagi or Nayaki) is a 2018 Tamil language family soap opera, a serial with daily episode, starring Vidya Pradeep, Papri Ghosh, Ambika, Dhilip Rayan, Vetri Velan, Meera Krishnan and Suresh Krishnamurthi.
