Welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today’s tutorial I will show you how to crochet this easy baby girl dress, frock or gown for christening, baptism, presentation or any occasion for a baby girl from 3-12 months. You can make this crochet dress with either long sleeves or short sleeves. In the tutorial I show you how to make both.
For this crochet baby dress tutorial I used Nevado yarn in white which is a light #3 baby yarn. Its a mexican brand yarn by Omega and few stores in the US carry it. I ordered mine from Etsy. Just search Nevado Yarn and a couple of vendors will have it available. If buying online is not an option, Lion Brand “Baby Soft” yarn is very similar especially their white pompadour color. You can use cotton thread as well, just make sure to use 2 strands. To make the dress I used about 250g. You may need less or more depending how long you want your dress to be.
