While a tortoise and a monkey are walking through a forest, the monkey teases the tortoise of being too slow and cannot save himself in need. The tortoise feels hurt. Two friends see a fox come by. The monkey begins to climb a tree while the tortoise pulls herself into her shell. Seeing the shell, the fox thinks it to be empty and walks away. The monkey apologises for teasing the tortoise and they remain friends forever.
