Hello ? my name is Sarah. Welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. This channel is bilingual. All my tutorials are always in English and Spanish with a left handed version too in english.

In today’s crochet tutorial I will show you how to crochet these easy Crochet Baby pants, Crochet leggings, Crochet trousers for girls from 3-6 months. These crochet baby pants, or crochet baby trousers are made using the star stitch and are part of a crochet set for girls. The link for the crochet baby girl coat or sweater is above.

For these 3-6 month star stitch crochet baby pants or crochet trousers for girls I used baby yarn by Bebe Alize Sekerim in cream white #62 and light pink. You can also use any DK weight yarn and If you’re in the US you can use any #3 baby yarn. I used a 4mm hook for the waistband and a 3.5mm Crochet hook for the rest of the pants but you can use a 3.5mm hook to do both. I used about 108 grams of baby yarn.

If you’d like to make these star stitch crochet baby pants, crochet trousers, smaller or bigger, simply use a bigger or smaller hook with DK or #3 baby yarn. Just remember that different yarn weight and hook size will determine the final size. See below.

Newborn use 2.5mm hook for waist and pants with #3 or DK
0-3M use 3mm hook for waist and pants with #3 or DK yarn
3-6M I use 3.5mm hook for waist and pants with #3 or DK yarn (what I made)
6-9M used 4mm hook for waist and pants with #3 or DK yarn
9-12M use 4.5mm hook for waist and pants with #3 or DK yarn
