You can also make it in any size for any age just look at the above information for standard hat circumference measurements along with height of hat for each age. When making this hat please make sure your chain ends in an odd number like 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.

For this crochet hat tutorial I used Lion Branch Wool Ease medium #4 yarn in two colors and a 5.5mm crochet hook. I made this hat using stitch #159.
