My name is Sara welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today’s tutorial I will show you how to crochet this newborn Baby boy or girl layette set that’s very easy to make ideal for beginners. We will start with this simply adorable crochet cardigan, sweater, baby jacket, coat or matinee jacket for newborn baby boy from 3-6 months. You can also make this crochet set for girls just make sure you make the button holes in the correct side. Also, If you want to make it for newborn baby just use a 3mm crochet hook with light #3 baby yarn. For 6-9 months use baby yarn #3 and a 4.5mm crochet hook. For 9-12 months used a 5mm hook with medium #4 yarn.

For this crochet baby matinee coat tutorial I James C. Brett yarn in blue and white with a 4 mm crochet hook. I used about 250 grams of yarn for the whole set that includes the baby pants. I used 97 grams of yarn just for the baby jacket.
