How to upgrade any clothing article from the thrift store

Whether you’ve found some cool inexpensive clothes at a charity shop or your lovely grandma gave you her old clothes, there are many ways you can alter them and bring them to the 2020 fashion trends. Just a few tweaks here and there, and you can turn something vintage into a jaw-dropping outfit.

Let’s start with wide-leg trousers that were all the rage in the 80s. Try wearing them as a dress for your nights out.

You can also wear a regular t-shirt as a skirt. You bring the t-shirt to your waist, and then you place the sleeves inward to make them look like pockets. But, if you want to turn them into actual pockets, sew the sleeve edges.
