SUMMARY
– Smoking is something that you can actually control and eventually give up. It’s not some genetic disease you can do nothing about. So, put out your cigarette and when the smoke clears, you’ll see the world way better.
– Good sunglasses don’t just make you look cool, but also protect you from dangerous ultraviolet rays. By the way, the rays don’t really care what time of year you are having, so try to put on glasses every time you go outside in sunny weather.
– Take five-minute breaks every hour. Set a timer if you need it. During rest stand up and walk around and massage your neck a little. If you wear glasses, take them off more often.
– To avoid dry eye symptom that we talked about earlier, blink more often than you want when working on a computer. This way you won’t sense any irritation or burning by the end of the day.
– The closer the screen image to the real life, the better. If the objects on the screen are sharp (especially text), your eyes will get tired less.
– Set the brightness level to as low as possible. You should be able to see easily, but not feel like you’re staring at a flashlight.
– The right diet will provide you with the elements your eyes need.
Drink carrot juice as often as possible (preferably, every day). You can add two drops of olive oil to it.
– Have a specialist check your eyes at least once a year. Don’t be cheap or lazy about it. Better late than never, right, but earlier is even better. It is much easier to prevent serious diseases conditions if they are properly diagnosed at the early stages.

EXERCISES
– Come to the window and place your finger on it. Choose the most distant object you can see through the window. First, focus on the finger, then on the object. Repeat this at least ten times to relax your eye muscles.
– Sit facing a small stationary object in an open space (a candle, for example). Focus your eyes on it. Try not to blink. You should aim to have a firm, detailed image of the object in your mind and memory.
– Massage your eyes with gentle circular movements for one minute. Let’s begin right now! Of course, while massaging you shouldn’t feel any pain, just slight pressure. Massage ensures better blood supply to your eyes.
– Another thing you can do for the blood supply is close your eyes very tightly. When doing it your face should look like a grimace of pain (as shown on the screen), so make sure nobody else can see you.
– Take a pencil (or a pen) and hold it in front of your face at arm’s length. Now start moving the pencil to your face very slowly maintaining the focus on it. Continue until you can keep the focus no longer.
