5 Natural ways to curl your hair

Women love wearing their hair wavy and curly.

But what if your hair has had more than its fair share of heat curling?

You want to give it a rest and go natural instead?

If so, then you’ve come to the right place.

Just a reminder tho that getting natural-looking curls can be especially hard if your hair is usually straight.

Still, don’t lose hope because that is what we are here for.

Luckily, there are ways to curl your hair without using damaging heat.

With these natural ways, you can achieve various types of curls that give off different vibes.

Are you feeling lazy? Then go for the most natural way of curling your hair using a ponytail holder.

We will be touching more on that and the four other ways, so keep watching.

Lazy curls
First, pull your hair into a ponytail.

Then spray a little water on one-inch sections of your hair until they’re a bit damp.

Wrap each around your fingers to form a curl.

To secure the curl, clip it.

And once you’re done doing this to your entire head, give it time to work its magic.

When your hair has completely dried, unpin each curl and remove your ponytail.

Magazine waves
Do you have lots of old magazines? Let’s put them to good use.

Start by gently brushing your hair to remove any tangles.

Get a magazine page, cut it down the center vertically, and fold it in half.

Then, get a one-inch section of your hair and dampen it with water.

Afterward, wrap your hair around the paper strip until you’ve reached the middle part.

Tie the paper in a knot to keep the curl in place and repeat it.

You can also use bobby pins to secure your hair on the magazine strips.

Headband waves
What you need is only a single headband.

This method is perfect for those who cannot be bothered with multiple clips and pins.

First off, with damp hair and a headband around your head, divide your hair into two parts.

Next, twist one section away from your face and wrap it over and under the headband.

Do this until you reach the end of your hair, then proceed to the other part.

Spritz some hairspray to keep your hair in place and let the waves set.

Dry your hair thoroughly before wearing it down.

Donut waves
For this method, you will need a hair donut, and yes, we don’t mean the food.

Begin by brushing your hair and putting it in a high ponytail at the crown of your head.

Second, pull the ponytail through the hair donut and divide your hair into two equal parts.

Spray some water to keep it damp.

Finally, take one section first, then wrap it over and under the hair donut until you’re at the end of your hair.

Do the same for the other part.

Dry your hair thoroughly before taking it down.

Mermaid waves
Want mermaid-like curls? Here’s how.

To start, part your hair down the middle and spray it with water to make it damp.

Second, divide your hair into two parts and braid each side.

As you braid, make sure to pull firmly as you work your way down.

Lastly, put some hairspray and let your hair to be dried entirely before untying the braids.
